DEER RUTTING 2018

The rut is the special bellowing of the deer in rut that happens every year after the summer, between late September and early October, we can see and observe it in the municipality of Jerez, specifically in the Montes de Propios (Los Alcornocales Natural Park).

We go into this farm to experience first hand this wonderful spectacle of nature, we look for the best places to enjoy the rut without interfering in its development.

The route begins in Jerez and we move to the mountains, enjoying the way through the fertile valley of the Guadalete and majaceite river, crossing one of the largest reservoirs in Andalusia to reach one of the entrances of the property, we will make an introduction of the deer of the Park and the characteristics of the same to then go slowly through the farm, we will make several stops at strategic locations for contemplation. We will finish with an aperitif with sherry wine in this unique place as "The last Mediterranean jungle".
