Experiences among vineyards

The coming months will be full of events in the surroundings of Jerez, experiences worth knowing and enjoying. First of all, as it could not be otherwise, in the land of wine we propose you to get to know closely the vineyards that surround the city and where the albariza soil, unique in the world, offers us the best of itself to sprout the grapes from which the different varieties of Sherry will be produced. During the month of July, the ripening process of the fruit is already very advanced, and the spectacle is worth seeing.

August marks the beginning of the grape harvest in the Jerez region. From the end of the month, the generous fruit of the land is carefully harvested so that it can offer its best in the explosion of flavors that sherry wine contains. Knowing how the grapes are harvested and enjoying the sunset among the vineyards is a spectacle that is worthwhile.

The calendar moves forward and, while the grapes are still being harvested at full maturity, the Fiestas de la Vendimia de Jerez (Sherry Harvest Festival) arrive in September. An exaltation of the fruit and wine that have given international renown to the Jerez region, and in which we will also tour the vineyards and enjoy the spectacular sunsets among the vines.
