Mountain Day

December 11th is International Mountain Day. What can I say about them? To begin with, they have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I remember going with my parents to Grazalema on those roads in poor condition and seeing those stone giants that made you feel even smaller. After a few years, I began to feel them under my boots, which was what existed in those years, the 70s, I just wanted to go up and up, as soon as you got some money together, you took the bus that took you to the Sierra de Grazalema. A few years later I managed to reach the roof of the Iberian Peninsula, the Mulhacén, that was great and I think I was 16 years old. The years have passed and now I see them in a different way, not as a challenge, but as a companion in which I immerse myself whenever I can, to enjoy every moment and corner, calm and contemplative. I could not live without them.
