White villages of the Sierra de Cádiz

Through farmland, we are surprised by Arcos de la Frontera, a white village in the mountains with incredible panoramic views and surrounded by the Guadalete River. A town with a fascinating history and beautiful corners. We will take a nice walk through its narrow streets.

Continuamos nuestra ruta por caminos salpicados de lugares interesantes que iremos interpretando hasta llegar a El Bosque, puerta de entrada del Parque natural y famoso por sus quesos “Payoyo”, que tendremos ocasión de degustar. Ya en Benamahoma disfrutaremos del frescor del nacimiento del rio Majaceite y haremos una parada para disfrutar de un aperitivo serrano regados con vino de Jerez.

Subimos de cota, hasta alcanzar los 1.103 mts. de altura, el Puerto del Boyar, con unas impresionantes vistas de la Sierra de Grazalema y en días claros se puede ver hasta Cádiz. Muy cerca del nacimiento del rio Guadalete nos aparece Grazalema, considerado como uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España, del que disfrutaremos después de un merecido almuerzo.
